Beth Sobczak P.T.

I have over 20 years of experience after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. I have worked in a variety of settings including residential care for adolescences and children, several school systems, a center with visually impaired children and two Birth-to-Three programs. Working in a variety of settings has allowed me to learn from a variety of therapists, teachers, clients and families, which has helped me to develop an interdisciplinary approach to treatment. I have also learned that no child of family is identical and each requires their own individualized plant for treatment and progress. I strive to learn something new from each family and client in order to keep developing my skills.

I enjoy working with children because their development continues to amaze and surprise me.  You never know what your day will bring!  To help a child progress I utilize a variety of techniques and try to find what is most motivating for the child-whether it’s a specific toy, sensory item or movement experience.  I try to make therapy fun but also challenging.

Brenda Schilder P.T.

My career as a physical therapist is about helping children and their families to move forward in a positive direction. I graduated from Marquette University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Since this time I have been working with children of all ages from infants to young adults and including a variety of diagnoses from mildly developmentally delayed to severely neurologically impaired. Working throughout the lifespan of early infancy through adolescence and into adulthood has really helped me to maintain a focus on important life skills that will affect a child's ability to manage his/her life as independently as possible as he/she grows. In order to accomplish these challenges, I rely a great deal on the involvement of the family and other members of the team including pediatricians, orthopedists, physiatrists, orthotists and equipment technicians. I also strive to deliver the best quality of care through ongoing education, which has allowed me to provide more strategies and options for families. Some of my course work has included seating and positioning, gait training including body weight supported gait training, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, taping, myofacial release, and several courses on the use of neurodevelopmental treatment. I use these techniques with a combination of play-based therapy and family education. As each child is unique, I also try to tailor a program that fits his/her individual needs and the family's needs. My part to foster these changes is only the beginning of a long road ahead for many children, but I feel grateful every day to have the opportunity to do what I love-to help kids reach their fullest potential and facilitate the ABILITY to accomplish as much as possible in their lives.

Rosalyn Passehl P.T.

I have been a physical therapist for 34 years and have spent most of that time specializing in pediatrics. I have enjoyed every minute spent working with children of all ages and disabilities, and seeing their spirit and determination help them reach their full abilities. I have worked in school, hospital, clinic and home-based settings and have seen many changes in the delivery of therapy services.

I have taken numerous continuing education courses including the eight-week NDT course, and believe there is never an end to learning from the children and from co-workers. I enjoy working with all the members of a child's "team" and helping that child meet his or her full potential. I also enjoy working with parents to help them understand their child's unique strengths and weaknesses.

Stephanie Boehme, DPT

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2011 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I completed the Waisman Center’s Maternal and Child Health Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities through which I gained excellent experience working with children through a collaborative team approach consisting of parents, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers. I have experience working with a variety of different diagnosis and impairments in children throughout their lifespan.

I am very passionate about working with children. I feel that the family and the community in which a child lives are so important in their development that I strive to incorporate these aspects into the therapy sessions I provide. I feel that each child I work with is unique and I work to create a plan of care that focuses on their unique qualities, interests, and family beliefs. I love to use creativity to incorporate play and fun into all areas of therapy treatment sessions.

Jill French-Graebner

I started at Rehab Resources in August 2011 with over 26 years of pediatric physical therapy experience after relocating to Sheboygan from the Twin Cities. My pediatric experience includes 23 years in my own private practice providing therapy with children of all ages and a variety of neurologic disorders. I have provided therapy in homes and through contracted services in the Hudson School District. Prior to starting my own practice, I also worked at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital with a variety of pediatric patients including MD, neurodevelopmental disorders, post rhizotomies, cancer and immune deficiencies.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Scholastica. Prior to my pediatric focus, I worked as a general physical therapist with orthopedic, pediatric and cardiac clients at Hudson Hospital. I also traveled to Thailand where I helped establish a PT program focused on training Cambodian refugees to treat a variety of diagnoses including club foot, cerebral palsy, amputation, and stroke.

What I like about Rehab Resources is the collaborative environment that supports my passion to treat children. I enjoy working in partnership with parents, caregivers, and families. My extensive knowledge, comprehensive experience and continuing education training helps me to work through families to help their child reach their fullest potential. I continue to learn and develop skills from families, teachers, co-workers and physicians to treat each child with a positive and effective approach. The smiles and stories the children share lighten my day and make my job rewarding and fulfilling.
